Application drafts sit ready, they are not sent
Pratyush Pandey had Claude Cowork write a tailored email draft per role from a spreadsheet and his CV. The drafts are left ready to send.
Done with Claude CoworkModerate
What was done
On 3 October 2026 Pratyush Pandey writes that he uploaded an Excel sheet of LinkedIn leads and his CV to Claude Cowork. The agent drafts an email per role in Gmail, tailored to the job and the CV, and leaves it ready to send. The profile says Kanpur.
How it went
He writes that work which used to take hours now takes minutes. The post does not say the emails were sent, and it does not say how many replies he received.
Worth knowing
A draft is not an application until you send it. The agent can miss the role if the sheet is thin.
How to do it
- Put the role, the company and a link in the sheet. Attach the CV you actually want to use.
- Ask for one draft per row, left in the drafts folder.
- Read each draft. Delete what does not fit. Send it yourself.
Try it with Claude Cowork
For each row in [sheet], write an email draft for [role] based on [CV]. Leave the draft in drafts. Do not send it. Do not invent experience I do not have.
Replace text in brackets with your own.
Done when. The drafts are in the drafts folder, and you have read them before anything is sent.
Safety rule. The agent sends no application. It does not invent experience.
