The enquiry becomes a task, the reply goes through Telegram

Toma built an n8n setup for customer enquiries. It creates a ClickUp task and notifies him on Telegram. He replies there himself. The agent can send email, update the status or close the thread from his reply.

Done with n8nAdvanced

This is a public report, not advice from Skatteetaten, NAV, Altinn or an accountant. Check figures, deadlines and decisions against the original.

What was done

On 30 June 2026 Toma writes that enquiries came by email and forms, and that the context was getting lost. He did not want full automation. He wanted help while he stayed in control. The flow is built with n8n, OpenAI, Telegram, ClickUp, Gmail and Google Sheets. It captures the enquiry and gives it its own id. It creates a ClickUp task. It sends him a Telegram notice. He replies in his own words on Telegram. The agent reads the reply and chooses whether to send email, update the status or close the thread.

How it went

He replies from Telegram. The post does not say how many enquiries were handled. It does not show a sent email.

Worth knowing

The post does not say he reads the email before it goes out. Check the original.

How to do it

  1. Let the flow create a task and notify you. It should not answer the customer on its own.
  2. Reply in your own words where you already are, and say what should happen to the task.
  3. Do not send email, do not change the status and do not close the thread until you say yes.

Try it with n8n

When an enquiry arrives in [inbox], create a task in [task list] and notify me on [telegram]. Do not send email, do not change the status and do not close the thread until I have replied and said yes.

Replace text in brackets with your own.

Done when. You have replied yourself, and no email was sent before you said yes.

Safety rule. No email, status change or closing until you have said yes.
