What was done
On 9 October 2026 Dale Spoonemore (@DaleSpoonemore) writes that the day at HelloUntangle went to automating customer service. When a new message arrives in a Slack thread with a client, a Devin session starts, a Linear ticket is created, and a reply is drafted. Nothing is sent to the client automatically yet. He writes that he still holds the language. He has a dashboard of the issues Devin is working on, which client they belong to, and the status. When an issue is fixed, the follow-up to the client is also meant to go through him. The profile says Oklahoma City, OK.
How it went
Clients do not get a reply on their own. He writes that he wants to see the language before he lets it go. The post does not say a client has received one of these replies.
Worth knowing
The follow-up after a fix is described, not shown as sent. Check the original. This is not a finished customer-service routine.
How to do it
- Let a new message in [channel] start a draft and a ticket. Not a reply to the client.
- Read the draft. Rewrite what does not sound like you.
- Send it yourself, or leave it. Ask for the same stop on the follow-up after a fix.
Try it with Valgfri agent
When a new message arrives in [channel], look into the issue, open a ticket in [tool] and write a reply draft. Do not send it to the client. Show me the draft and wait for a yes. Do the same with any follow-up afterwards.
Replace text in brackets with your own.
Done when. The draft has been read, and the client has not received anything you did not send yourself.
Safety rule. The Devin session does not send to the client and does not follow up until you say yes.
